General Booking and Rate Conditions - Villa Malvasio
📌 1. Introduction
The following conditions regulate the booking and payment on the Villa Malvasio booking platform. By making a booking, the user fully and unreservedly accepts these general conditions.
📌 2. Available Rates and Charging Policies
Villa Malvasio adopts two different rate plans, each regulated by specific payment conditions and protections:
🏨 Non-Refundable Rate
🔹 Guarantee and Advance Payment: Upon booking, an amount equal to 50% of the total stay will be charged to the credit card provided as a confirmation deposit (pursuant to Article 1385 of the Italian Civil Code).
🔹 Balance on Property: The remaining 50% of the total amount must be paid by the guest upon arrival at the property during check-in procedures.
🔹 Cancellation and No-Show: In case of cancellation, modification, or failure to show up (no-show), the 50% amount already paid as a confirmation deposit will be retained entirely by the Management, and no refund or voucher issuance will be provided.
🛡️ BeSafe Rate (Insurance Included)
🔹 Guarantee and Advance Payment: Upon booking, the entire amount (100%) of the stay will be charged to the credit card as a confirmation deposit (pursuant to Article 1385 of the Italian Civil Code).
🔹 Cancellation and Insurance Refund: In case of cancellation, the property retains the entire deposit paid. However, thanks to the insurance policy included in the rate price, the guest can request a refund of up to 100% of the prepaid amount directly from the partner insurance company for any objectively documentable reason (such as health reasons, including COVID-19, injuries, hospitalization, holiday cancellation, dismissal, or new employment).

📌 3. Payment Methods and Security
💳 Electronic payments on the booking engine are processed securely through Stripe and SumUp payment gateways. Credit card financial data travel in encrypted form according to PCI-DSS standards and are not stored on the property's servers.
💳 Major credit cards from Visa, MasterCard, and American Express circuits are accepted.
📌 4. Tourist Tax (City Tax)
🏙️ The tourist tax, determined by the current regulations of the Municipality of Sassari, is never included in the displayed public rates and must be settled separately in cash or by card at check-in.
📌 5. Guest Obligations
👤 The guest undertakes to provide true, updated information and correct personal data both when filling out the booking and during the subsequent entry of documents in the Guest Portal, which is necessary for public safety requirements (Alloggiati Web). The Management disclaims all liability for fines or disruptions resulting from incorrect or incomplete data provided by the user.
